No es fácil pero os voy a contar un poquito sobre mí.

Era una chica corriente, de las que les gustaba estudiar y terminar una carrera con toneladas de apuntes de mil colores, en el fondo sabía que nunca trabajaría de ello, pero mi orgullo me animó a terminar la licenciatura en química, después busqué alternativas de trabajo y por ello acabé dos títulos más: técnico en farmacia y técnico en control de calidad, pero en el fondo sabía que nunca trabajaría de ello a no ser que cogiera la maleta y me fuera del sur, y no lo hice.

En mi familia hay mucho arte, pero yo era la que le gustaba estudiar y tenía el arte como desconexión de los libros, después de tantas horas de biblioteca, lo que me apetecía era crear, salir corriendo del papel, y siempre tenía llegada la noche labores creativas; bordar, coser, tejer… alguna labor que adornara el rincón del sofá, mis cómplices de mi relax.

También me gusta planificar viajes imposibles, me conozco el nombre y las travesías de todos los cruceros del mediterráneo, antes de internet me gustaba coleccionar revistas que regalaban las agencias de viaje, fantasear es otro hobby y es que no tengo remedio, me encantaría ver todo lo que hay por allí.

Quizá sea un bicho raro, no lo sé, pero en muchos sentidos también soy una chica corriente: me gusta el olor a café, el chocolate caliente y mi estación favorita es el otoño, me gustan las películas donde sabes a priori que el final va a ser feliz, me gusta madrugar y no me acuesto sin buscar la luna en el cielo, me encanta la cosmética pero soy un desastre con mi pelo, me encanta salir a bailar pero desde que soy madre lo hago en casa cuando mi cabeza me da un respiro con el “tengo que”. Me considero social, cariñosa, humana, soy así, una chica corriente.

Ahora tengo una vida “tranquila”, porque mi cabeza y mis ilusiones no paran, durante la mañana soy emprendedora, diseño patrones en punto para marcas o para mi propia tienda en la plataforma Ravelry y por las tardes soy mamá así que los parques son mi segundo hogar. Acabo el día agotada pero guardo tiempo nocturno para tejer, me recuerdo a mí misma que estoy haciendo lo que siempre me hizo estar viva, tejer, crear y viajar en mi cabeza, uniendo así mis dos pasiones, tejer y viajar, ¿Cómo? inspirándome en lugares del mundo, así me documento del lugar, siento su historia, sus lugares más bonitos y a la vez diseño una prenda,  con esta fusión diseño-viaje estoy creando mi estilo propio que no es nada fácil, en cada prenda intento que las y los tejedores viajen en cada elemento de diseño y tengan una experiencia extra en su tejido.

COLABORACIONES

Amo las colaboraciones, este trabajo es  muy solitario, el mero hecho de tejer es un acto individual y diseñar requiere aun más concentración y responsabilidad, por eso para  mí colaborar con otra marca es un haz de luz y energía nueva en mi camino como diseñadora, ya que hay un contacto directo, un equipo, un propósito común, un futuro juntos con mayor o menor duración, pero una ilusión compartida durante un tiempo.

Hay distintos tipos de colaboraciones, a continuación os escribo un poco todas las realizadas hasta el día de hoy. Todas han sido maravillosas, momentos de aprendizaje ya que he colaborado con marcas de lanas comerciales, tintoreras artesanas, publicaciones de libros, colecciones con otros diseñadores, mercerías dando talleres…
